Barney Bubbles 1942-1983 I will never forget the times Barney and I shared together. It was the first time in my life that I was privileged enough to share the same head space with a true genius. He was my soul brother, and I'll never forget the phone call he made to me just before he took his life. The photograph on the left was taken for the band "Inner City Unit" which features the shadow of Nik Turner - another one of Barney's close friends. One day Barney raised the five fingers of his right hand and exclaimed that he only had five true friends in the world, fortunately I was one of them, so was Nik.
